…with a packet of gum and a very full tum, Hi HOOO, Hi Ho Hi Ho Hi Ho!!
Yep, this has to be a super quick post – I’m off to go and sit in on my first panel meeting in about 10minutes!! After 6 weekends of training the back end of last year, countless meetings, references issues and CBR checks, I’m FINALLY getting going! I’ll explain what it’s all about later on 🙂
Soo quickly onto my day so faaarr!!
I woke up bang on 6.30 after a super night’s sleep (bar stinky Obama waking me up at 5am, cos she felt like some attention…BAH. I ignored her!!) – when my alarm went off, all I could think was ‘darn it, what’s that annoying noise?? Why won’t it stop???’ Then I realised it was my alarm, and lept from my bed!
And headed straight for my wheatgerm packet – a tbsp later and I hit my DVDs for my last DVD home workout before I pick up running again tomorrow. I did 52minutes, then headed out the door in quite a rush (I’d forgotten I needed to fuel up on my drive back to uni! Eck)
On my way, I snacked on this beautiful banana (it was SO TASTY! Very sweet and soft – perfect)
I may or may not have had a caffeine hit in the form of a diet pepsi aussi….
Breakfast when I got to uni was the rest of my 2% Greek I’d been saving up, mixed with a ring of pineapple my step dad didn’t use yesterday and an individual can of peach pieces(can you tell I was low on fruit!!??)
That was SO GOOD!! Sweet, but good 🙂 I also had 30g Soya and Linseed Bran, mixed with 20g of that other Bran cereal I have, and 1/3cup Puffed Wheat:
I was in such a rush this morning though that I barely had time to finish it – I ended up putting it in a bag and eating it on my walk in to uni 😛
When I got in, I spread some Operation Beautiful love:
It has to be done 😛
And then, thankfully however, my lecture finished early today, so on my way home I took a quick detor to pick up some parsnips – an essential dinner ingredient! I then made a quick lunch: roasted brussels, broccoli (on it’s last legs), cherry tomatoes, swede (can you believe I’m still getting through the same swede I started on about 2 weeks ago!!?? Mad.), stir fried spinach and mushrooms, and soya mince, all seasoned with chives and bbq salt:
That’s my orange car in the background – isn’t she cute!?
Quick and filling and delish 😀
And now I’ve got to make a hasty exit to my panel meeting!
But before I go quickly, two things:
- Thankyou to everyone that got in touch about uni stuff! You guys are really really helpful 🙂
- Ooh – what’s this that came through my letter box today?
A mystery package? What could be in it?? Answers on the back of a postcard please 😀 You’ll also just have to read my blog later on to find out 😀
